After 14 years as an investor, Jonathan Spitzer, founder of CTFN, realized the event-deal stories in the media landscape only scratched the surface. Thus, the concept for CTFN, a subscription only M&A-content site, originated to fill this void in the marketplace.

When Jonathan approached us back in 2014, the company needed to shed its previous regional name and brand without upsetting its existing user base. After conducting research and analysis we provided counsel on a strategy name change to CTFN to maintain consistency, while expanding its potential outreach to new clients.

Based on research of competitor platforms such as Bloomberg Terminal, Mlex and DealReporter, we reconfigured the platform’s user experience and interface to maximize SEO.

Cometa created an entirely new website with a design equipped for mobile and desktop, integrated with the new front-end design that emphasized brighter colors and bolder front. We replaced TinyPass API paywall system with a custom one to increase security and improve the user experience.
